Tribe to Table is more than a market – we are a community. Through our 60+ partnerships with tribes across North America, we strive to engender indigenous enterprise. From federally recognized nations to Mayan communities in Yucatán and individual Native artists and farmers, we work with large and small producers to bring Native foods and goods to you – “from the tribes to your table.”
Tribe to Table originally started with Native caught seafood from PNW tribes. Fishing is a way of life and a deep rooted part of the culture there, where fishermen still feed their families and make a living the way they have for generations. Through the seafood trade, as well as being Native himself, Tribe to Table’s founder Christian Ramirez became well acquainted with the superior quality of the wild foods he was coming in contact with, as well as the level of environmental stewardship that was involved when working with the tribes.
WIld berry jams, wild rice harvested by canoe, heirloom beans, fair trade coffees, teas, chocolates, honeys, jewelry, apparel, and more. Bringing the tribes to your table means bringing together cultures, traditions, art, and nature in a way that supports sustainability, health, consciousness, and awareness!
