First Native American Market
Tribe to Table is more than a brand, more than a market – we are a community. From federally recognized nations in the US to Mayan communities in the Yucatan Peninsula to individual artisans and fishermen – we strive to engender indigenous enterprise large and small by bringing food and goods from tribes throughout the Americas.
It all started with seafood. Fishing is a way of life and a deep rooted part of the culture for many Pacific Northwest. Fishermen still feed their families and make a living the way they have for generations beyond generations. Through the seafood trade, as well as being native himself, Tribe to Table’s founder became well acquainted with the superior quality of the wild foods he was coming in contact with as well as the level of environmental stewardship that was involved when working with food from tribes.
Then it grew. WIld berry jams, wild rice harvested by canoe, an artisanal line of hemp CBD, dog and cat foods, heirloom beans, fair trade coffees, teas, chocolates, honeys, jewelry… and continues to grow. Today we work with over 50 tribes and are honored to be able to do so. Bringing the tribes to your table means bringing together cultures, traditions, art, and nature in a way that supports sustainability, health, consciousness and awareness.
